David E.
David has been drumming and performing music for nearly 30 years. He started out playing by ear at the age of five; then received professional lessons shortly after. David considers himself lucky to have had supportive parents who noticed his talents and nurtured them early in his development. They introduced him to different instruments and genres of live and recorded music. David fondly recalls spending virtually every evening listening to records with his father that ranged from The Beatles to King Crimson. By the age of 12, David began playing with his adults neighbors and family; allowing him to gain familiarity with playing on stage and in front of people. His musical interests had expanded into classical, jazz, heavy metal, and electronica. The exposures to new styles and genres inspired him to rise to the challenge of broadening his skills; as well as cementing his desire to be a lifelong musician. He began teaching in late high school, sharing his passion for drumming and music with others. David has been a member of, toured with, and recorded for a variety of acts; some of which include Will Wood, Tandav, and - most recently - Last Pharaoh.
